Could you tell us what Hadleigh Men's Shed is all about and why it's important for the local community?
The shed is a space where men can come together in a workshop environment to work on shared projects and in doing so we help to combat loneliness and isolation and improve the health and wellbeing of the local men.
Who can join the Shed, and what's the best way for men to become a part of your group?
The shed is open to all men age 18 and over. Anyone who is interested in joining can call, email or just pop in when we are open. We will be delighted to show you around.
What kind of activities or projects do members typically get involved in, and how does being part of the Shed help them?
We do all manner of woodworking projects. Some are small individual jobs, others are larger shared projects where the men work together. We also refubish and repair items. No experience is needed, there is always someone on hand to offer advice and help out.
